Working With Sky Realty
With only a couple clicks of your mouse, you can...
1. Sign up for the program
- Information such as name, address, phone number, and email address will get the process started.
2. Fill out and submit your buying paperwork
- Download buying paperwork, complete, sign, and submit by fax 216-529-1097 or mail if you do not have a fax machine.

* You will also need to provide a copy of your pre-approval letter from a reputable bank or mortgage company. This also can be submitted via fax or mail.
3. Search for homes online.
- The first step in the home buying process is to search for and identify real estate for sale in Ohio that may interest you. Sky Realty allows you to access realtor.com (the largest public information site for homes sales) from our site click here or you can visit various other agencies’ sites, home magazines, etc. to search for homes. This search feature allows you to identify homes, land, condos, even custom homes in Ohio without the assistance of an agent.
4. View a home.
- After you identify a home that interests you, it's time to physically tour the property. This can be done by either attending an open house, or by scheduling a showing directly with the listing agent (the agent's phone # and email address are typically listed on the bottom of the listing) In either case, you must tell the listing agent that you are a client of Sky Realty.
- When you call the listing agent to arrange a tour or go to an open house, the listing agent will likely ask who you are and whether you have an agent, questions that may be easier to answer using the outline below.
- "I'm potentially interested in making an offer on this property. I am using Sky Realty as my real estate broker to represent me and to prepare paperwork, negotiate, and coordinate closing".
- If you have any problems scheduling an appointment, please call Sky Realty and we will be sure to get you an appointment.
- As a new brokerage, Sky Realty is occasionally the subject of questions from the listing agent hosting a home tour.
- Bringing the following document Working with Sky Realty to the viewing or open house can address many of the questions the listing agent may have, and begin to build a rapport with the seller.
- Make sure to bring Exclusive Right to Represent to all appointments and viewings.
5. Make an offer.
- Once you are ready to make an offer on a property, contact Sky Realty and an agent will assist you.
6. Offer Management
- After the initial offer is presented, your Sky Realty agent will continue to work closely with you through the entire contract process.
7. The Refund
- After closing, the listing agent will pay Sky Realty our commission for bringing them a buying agent. Once commission has been received,
Sky Realty will fund you 2/3 of the commission. We do charge a minimum commission of $1500 but this is only an issue if the purchase price of the home is less than $150,000.
